About the Press

IELT, the Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, publishes several series of e-books on topics within its research axes. Volumes are currently published in four collections: IELT, Editing Memory, Co-editions, Portuguese Dialogues and Atlas of the Literary Landscapes of Mainland Portugal. In addition to these collections, IELT also publishes volumes in partnership with other research units or publishing organisations.

This activity is managed by an Editorial Board, made up of IELT’s researchers, which permanently welcomes publication proposals in line with the institute's research objectives. Works submitted for publication must be sent to the coordinator of the Editorial Board and follow the guidelines and procedures described in the Editorial Policy and Regulations.

All works published in IELT e-books are subject to double-blind peer review in accordance with COPE ethical review standards. They are published on an open access basis and distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
