O Pescador de sons: desafios para piano em dez peças inéditas is a teaching album aimed at young pianists and their piano teachers. Ten short pieces by Manuel Pedro Ferreira are presented to the public in sheet music for the first time. With each piece, Luísa Tender tackles very specific pianistic issues. Examples include the challenge of choosing fingerings, planning movements with a view to their musical consequence, strategies for improving the hearing of voices in counterpoint, harmonic awareness, memorisation, among others.
